Any upcoming workshops or classes will be listed and available to purchase in my shop.

Classes are held at my studio on 76 Lord Street, Liverpool, L2 1TL. It is on the second floor but there is a lift.

If you are interested in pottery classes but would prefer one on one, private classes then please send me an email so I can check my availability.

Handbuilding Classes (3 hours)
In this class you will learn various handbuilding techniques and have the opportunity to make a pot or two of your choosing. The number of things you create depends upon the complexity of the design. If there is a project you would like to work on please feel free to ask and if we can feasibly make it within the time then I am happy to help!

Also included in the ticket price is the opportunity to come back to the studio after your piece has been bisque fired so you can glaze it yourself. This is usually 1-2 weeks after the first session. Glazing should take about 2 hours max but usually less for smaller, less complicated pieces.

If you cannot return for the glazing session or simply would rather I do it for you then you can pick out your glaze colours at the first session and I will glaze your pieces instead.

You will receive an email when your pottery is ready to collect. This will be a maximum of 2 weeks. Or it can be posted to you for an additional £3.99. I can only store your pieces for an additional 2 weeks before they will be recycled (unless you've discussed a later pick up time with me prior).

Feel free to bring snacks and drinks with you!

Pottery Painting Workshop (2 hours)
Choose from a range of handmade pottery that's already been crafted and fired once by Cat. Once you've made your selection you can begin painting your piece with underglaze. All painting materials will be provided as well as some stencils if you are stuck for design ideas.
This is completely beginner-friendly and a chance to relax and have some fun! Don't stress about being perfect! You shouldn't get too messy but maybe don't wear your best outfit!

I will then glaze all your pieces with clear glaze before they are fired to 1240 degrees. This will make them food safe!
​
Your pottery will be ready to collect in 2 weeks. Or it can be posted to you for an additional £3.99. I can only store your pieces for an additional 2 weeks before they will be recycled (unless you've discussed a later pick up time with me prior).

Pottery & Prosecco Parties
I'm also available for private events at a venue of your choosing.
​
Prossecco and nibbles are provided. But feel free to bring your own party food or cake as well! (Can substitute prosecco for beer, wine or non-alcoholic options).

You can choose between the handbuilding class or pottery painting option.

Handbuilding
I will guide you through hand-building techniques before helping you complete your chosen designs. You will be able to pick out your glaze colours at the event and I will return to my studio to bisque fire, glaze and refire your pieces for the final time. This will make them foodsafe!

I will bring bisque fired pottery with me to the event. As well as all the necessary painting materials and stencils. I will then return to the studio to cover your pieces in clear glaze and refire them for the final time. This will make them foodsafe!
